Katrine K. Pedersen is an expert in media development and digitization. She is founded of the company LOOPLAND, which counsels Danish and international companies and organizations. She commutes between Copenhagen and Silicon Valley, where she keeps abreast of digital trends where they are happening.
She has a master’s in Rhetoric from University of Copenhagen and co-writer of the book MODKULTUR – fra undergrund til bundlinje (COUNTERCULTURE – from underground to bottom line), which zooms in on the history of digitization, born from the US counterculture that in the 1960s Silicon Valley tripped itself to visions of a digital revolution. Today, counterculture’s parole of “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish” has become parameters for market success.
Katrine K. Pedersen has among others counselled companies and organizations like DR, Maersk, ECCO, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen and various public organizations. She has lectured as associate professor at University of Copenhagen and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In addition, she writes articles about megatrends, digital trends and market conditions for e.g. Weekendavisen and SCENARIO Magazine.
