MR 2/2017: – Employee Engagement and the Role of Space - Copenhagen

Date:27 June 2017

Time:15:00

Place:Copenhagen

Studies show that improving employee engagement is a challenge that all organizations face. From these studies, we also know that engaged employees improve a company’s bottom line. And we know that employee engagement and satisfaction with the workspace are correlated.

Jeffrey Saunders, Director at Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, is an expert in work and workplace strategy, who will talk about the future trends affecting work, workforce and workplace that highlight why employee engagement matters. The basis for this presentation is CIFS’s Members’ Report, Working in the Age of Hyper-agility. For further details on the report see below *

Peter Ankerstjerne, Chief Marketing Officer, ISS, will talk about their own workplace transformation utilizing the backdrop of their new offices in Søborg, which recently rated as one of the highest in the Leesman Index, the largest independent collection of workplace effectiveness data in the world.

Beatriz Arantes, Environmental Psychologist and Research Lead at Steelcase, will facilitate a work session to identify one small step you can take today to modify your own workplace to further your organizational goals.

Join us for an event with experts who will focus on the strategic management of space – and what a workplace transformation could mean for your business.

The event is a collaboration between AmCham, ISS, Steelcase and CIFS/IFF. The event will be in English.

* The first of two members’ reports about the future of work and work life is based on international state-of-the-art research, including CIFS’s own extensive research and research for major companies like ISS and HP.

On this basis, the members’ report, Working in the Age of Hyper-agility, provides a comprehensive view of future work and work life and is structured around the three areas:

The report is relevant to all sectors, industries, and organisational types, and is created under the management of Jeffrey Saunders, director at CIFS and manager of the Danish branch of the international Facility Management Association’s Workplace Evolutionary Hub; a world-leading work life network.

Working in the Age of Hyper-agility will be followed later in 2017 by the members’ report Creating the Best in Class Work Strategy in the Age of Hyper-agility. In this upcoming report, we focus on companies’ and organisations’ strategic implementation of the recommendations in the first report.
