Kristian Mehlsen is a futurist with a background in management consulting across multiple sectors – both public and private. Kristian joined CIFS based on shared belief that it is necessary for companies and organisations to have a clearer understanding of plausible futures to inform strategic planning.
Kristian’s background as a management consultant and additional experience as a futurist enables him to apply the CIFS research and its implications to the client’s specific context. In addition, Kristian is an experienced facilitator and presenter.
Kristian was leading author on "Global cities and liability of foreignness" (2015) published in European Journal of International Management, Volume 10, Issue 1. The findings were presented at academic conferences.
Currently, Kristian is working on projects related to the financial sector, defense & security, and industrial products.
