Goal
To explore how TIA can become a truly ambidextrous organisation and strike the right balance between continuous and transformative innovation.
Process and result
Ambidexterity is the state of being equally adapted in the use of both the left and the right hand. Translated to innovation it means being efficient in the management of today's business as well as being adaptable for coping with tomorrow's changing demand. This vision study analysed how TIA can become an ambidextrous organisation and strike the right balance between continuous and transformative innovation. Methods were analyses of insurance trends and megatrends to pinpoint ways for TIA to innovate incrementally in their daily operations while nurturing their future competitiveness.
