Cases

Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and has deep roots in Scandinavia’s world-famous design tradition. A leader in design innovation, Kvadrat produces quality contemporary textiles and textile related products for architects, designers and private consumers across the world. 

Speaker: Njusja de Gier is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at the Kvadrat Group. In her role, she is responsible for all global marketing and branding of Kvadrat’s eight brands: Kvadrat, Kvadrat/Raf Simons, Kvadrat Febrik, Kinnasand, Kvadrat Soft Cells, Kvadrat Shade, Sahco and Really. She has been a driving force behind Kvadrat’s design and art projects. Before joining Kvadrat in 2008, Njusja held positions at Wibroe Duckert & Partners, MTV, and Proctor & Gamble. She holds an MBA from Erasmus University/ Rotterdam School of Management and a masters from Nyenrode Business University.

Area9 Lyceum is a Danish founded pioneer in learning technology with scalable solutions for more than 35 million learners over the past 25 years. With investment from LEGO Ventures, the company is pushing the boundaries in how learners develop beyond knowledge and towards skills and character including how formal and informal art education and learning in the post-pandemic world could look like.

Speaker: Dr. Khurram Jamil is President of Strategic Initiatives and Co-founder of Area9 Lyceum, a pioneer of four-dimensional adaptive learning. Dr. Jamil is a cultural bridge builder and is involved with various cultural & art organizations to support building creative and reflective societies. He is a board member at the Norman B. Leventhal Map & Education Center for the Boston Public library, and he serves on the Asia Society Center for Global Education Council as well as member of Guggenheim Middle Eastern Circle in NYC.

Music & Cocktails

Musical performance “Impressions of Danish Golden Age” by the two Danish composers, pianists, and electronic musicians Ejnar Kanding and My Beautiful Decay 1973 alias Carsten Bo Eriksen who will play together with cellist Josefine Opsahl.

Cultural cocktails provided by Arcus, that brings the best of Nordic spirits to the world, and the world's best wine to the Nordics.
