The Future of Media - Brussels - 13 Jun 2019 12:00

The media plays a crucial role in shaping our society. And the media landscape is changing rapidly. Hyper-digitalisation combined with the emergence of new technologies, formats and platforms are altering how we perceive the world, and how and where we get our news and information. As a consequence, truth, which used to be something delivered to us from major trusted media institutions, is now networked instead of dictated. Meanwhile, media polarisation is growing across the Western world, and media institutions are facing a universal crisis in trust, which it will need to find a remedy to. These and other trends are certain to reshape our media landscape in the years to come – the question is how.

CIFS’s upcoming Members’ Report is based on extensive knowledge and insights gathered through years of collaboration with major broadcasters and media clients.
