José is an Advisor & Futurist at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. He is helping the health team in the advisory side of the Institute, putting into practice his expertise in global health and biosciences.
José received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2017 from King's College London, and his Master of Science in Global Health in 2018 from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His work experience includes internships at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), IQVIA Consulting Services, and Salzburg Global Seminar. Through these experiences, José was able to get a taste of a diverse array of perspectives on health, his main career focus.
José is quite the map geek and enjoys taking quizzes on countries and capitals of the world. Some of his other hobbies include playing the piano and making music (both amateurly).
