Hybrid workplace of the future 2030

Together with five partners, we proudly present our new report on the future of work and the workplace.

Together with five partners, we are excited to announce the launch of our new report on the future of work and the workplace (in Danish). This report highlights the new conditions for office work after more than a year of COVID-19 and the related societal crisis. A crisis that has accelerated existing trends to an unforeseen extent, creating new problems and stress-testing work life and the workplace for all – especially knowledge workers. And the crisis has not yet been called off,

No one knows the framework for the good work life yet, but everything points toward a more hybrid life for everyone, in between the physical and digital. The successful collaboration models of the future for how to work must be developed under the current conditions with rapid change and challenged actors. Conditions that put pressure on cooperation and innovation. We expect increased friction between workplace actors until organizations find a new balance between working at the office and from distance.

The report is a discussion paper from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies with the aim of giving leaders and facility managers a more nuanced understanding of the main changes in society and how we will be working after Covid-19.

The report is written by the Institute in collaboration with Dansk Facilities ManagementNykreditNovozymesERIK arkitekter og DTU Management.
