Emilie has a background in academic research. With a PhD in biomedical science and human disease she has spend 7+ years in academia. Emilie works as a part of the health team where she mainly uses her critical and scientist mindset to do research on different projects. As well as communicating, integrating and translating hard-core biology to layman language. Emilie’s interest lies within future health care systems, health technology and innovation as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

Emilie managed to produce three kids and a PhD within 4 years, leaving no time to other hobbies except work, family and general survival - assisted with chocolate and wine. Before the family life she used to throw herself, her boyfriend, and a backpack on a plane a backpacked in California, Costa Rica, South Africa, Vietnam and Canada.
