Introduction to the Metaverse and the Metaverse Map

Get an introduction to the Metaverse in this Pre-summit webinar. We present a new Metaverse Map created in collaboration with Danish weekly business magazine Mandag Morgen and Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. The map gives an overview of the main concepts surrounding the metaverse such as AR, XR, virtual twins, web3, digital assets, NFT’s, and Generative AI. Apart from going into the different definitions we also look at the implications on different sectors, the spheres of impact and the uncertainties shaping the future of the metaverse.

Nordic business cases and insights

Release of the first-ever Metaverse Delphi Study

At the Nordic Metaverse Summit you will get an exclusive first look from the new CIFS Delphi Study on the future development of the Metaverse towards 2030 done by The Copenhagen Institute for future studies.

A Delphi Study conducted in the fall/winter 2022 with over 100 world leading experts in the field of the metaverse diving into critical uncertainties. A study that will reveal how a presence in the metaverse will be as essential for brands as it is to have a webpage today?

Why join?

The Nordic Metaverse Summit is a new conference that aims to bring together Nordic Business Leaders and frontrunners to explore how the Metaverse - and emerging technologies - may impact your future from both a commercial and consumer standpoint. This gives participants the tools to be able to act instead of finding themselves operating in worlds designed by and for someone else.

  • How can brands and businesses approach the Metaverse?
  • What is the best practice in the Nordics on the Metaverse?
  • How do you include the Metaverse in your company strategy?
  • What is essential to the customer experience?

Participants will engage in inspiring talks and debates to take a deep dive into the Metaverse, in order to grasp its impact on future consumers and business models. Participants will explore strategies, opportunities, and challenges across key sectors. This enables participants to ask the critical question every leader must ask: What will my organisation's role be in this new continuum?

Who should join?

We invite all Business Leaders, frontrunners and everybody with an interest in the development of the metaverse who would like to explore the possibilities for your business. This year’s Nordic Metaverse Summit focuses on the commercial potentials, such as new ways to engage customers and users, positioning for brands and services in the metaverse and best practices from both the Nordic and global arenas.
