About Sean

A research/foresight/strategy consultant, and UK Associate Partner with CIFS, Sean delivers actionable insights re: #NowNextWhy for clients ranging from corporates to agencies to NGOs, working on national and international projects.

He’s the author of two books: 'The Post-Truth Business' that went to No1 in the business charts, whilst 'Influencers & Revolutionaries' was shortlisted for the 'Business Book of the Year' Awards. (His next book ‘Swans, Rhinos & Jellyfish’ will help organisations prepare and respond to future scenarios.) His podcast #TheNewAbnormal features guests from academia to business to activism, and has over 150,000 downloads.

A public speaker, he’s given keynotes at events in the US/EU/MENA/Asia for over a decade, speaking at venues including boardrooms, congress halls, stadiums and festivals. Sean has also been a university lecturer (on brand strategy / applied foresight / disruptive comms) for twenty years. Finally, he’s proud to be a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Following a decade with cutting-edge agencies, Sean became a research consultant and has conducted ethnographic & trend research around the world.
